Dave Hallmon is a Dad, Designer, Developer, & Brainstormer...
Dave is a Senior Learning Technologist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. There he develops online and blended classroom offerings for clients of the Center for Learning Innovation. His current role allows him to lead project teams through an agile framework of strategizing with clients about learning solutions and consulting about eLearning best practices.
He is also an adjunct professor at two universities in the areas of web and graphic design. He has been teaching online students across the globe for the last 5 years. He has discussed his instructional strategies and passion for social learning at various online conferences and social networks. He also has 6+ years of experience working in the Higher Education eLearning industry prior to his current position.
Dave is a member of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology and a certified Adobe Education Trainer. His B.S. is in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas and has his M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He aspires to work on a Ph.D. in Learning Psychology within the next 10 years.

As Adjunct Faculty for the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology I regularly design and teach both online and on-ground courses within the Math & Computer Science department's Web Design certificate at the undergraduate level. Courses that I have taught include XHTML Programming and Web Editors. I am currently working with my department to possibly teach courses such as web design principles, technology principles, accessibility, etc. and possibly design/teach a new course in content management systems.

Iteratively together effective and efficient online instruction is designed and developed and sent to students across the globe. Implementing ISD models, I work directly with course creation and management processes in BlackBoard, webpage development in Adobe DreamWeaver and PhotoShop/FireWorks, self directed instruction with PowerPoint, and mock-up learning objects to be created in Adobe Flash.
