As Adjunct Faculty for the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology I regularly design and teach both online and on-ground courses within the Math & Computer Science department's Web Design certificate at the undergraduate level. Courses that I have taught include XHTML Programming and Web Editors. I am currently working with my department to possibly teach courses such as web design principles, technology principles, accessibility, etc. and possibly design/teach a new course in content management systems.
As an instructional designer for Webster Universityâs Center for Online Learning, I consult with professors who put their courses online. Iteratively together effective and efficient online instruction is designed and developed and sent to students across the globe. Implementing ISD models, I work directly with course creation and management processes in BlackBoard, webpage development in Adobe DreamWeaver and PhotoShop/FireWorks, self directed instruction with PowerPoint, and mock-up learning objects to be created in Adobe Flash.
